new workshop series:

the 6 different movement types your body is craving to explore

Maybe you feel that there are ways your body wants to move, but that doesn’t fit into structured workouts, traditional yoga sequences or any spaces where you feel worried about “doing it right.”

You might have felt something like:

  • The urge to listen more your own body

  • To shake something off

  • To slow down, but you keep going instead

  • To move freely, but you don’t know how anymore

somatic movement

Most movement spaces teach you how to gain strength or flexibility. But not so much to:

  • Listen your own body and recognize its different internal signals

  • Respond in a way that feels supportive and not forced

  • Explore what your body can do, without feeling like there is a specific goal where to get to

So you might find yourself doing the “right” practices but still feeling disconnected, or stuck in your head and not being able to let your body take the lead. You might be craving something deeper, softer and more intuitive.

This workshop series is about coming back to your own body, and exploring it in a deeper way through different movement types.

Amazing package of well- structured information combined with lots of beautiful movement practices according to different subjects.

So professional and personal, empathic presentation. Thank you so much, Aino!

Inside this series, you’ll explore 6 different movement types that your body naturally cycles through and craves.

We don’t explore these as techniques to master, but as something to reconnect with. Each one opens a different doorway into your body and your experience in it.

The 6 movement types

1. Grounding Movement (earth)

Slowing down, sensing weight, going inwards
→ when you feel scattered, anxious, or need calming.

2. Fluid Movement (water)

 Soft, continuous, wave-like motion
→ when you feel stuck, rigid or emotionally blocked.

3. Expansive Movement (air)

Opening, reaching, creating space in the body
→ when you feel collapsed or restricted.

4. Expressive Movement (fire)

 Raw, powerful, releasing

→ when you want to connect with your power (and core!)

5.  Calming Movement (stillness & safety)

 Pausing, integrating, allowing
→ when you need deep rest and slowing down

6. Instinctive Movement (animal body)

 Primal, spontaneous, intuitive

→ when your body wants freedom beyond structure.

So it's not about:

  • learning more poses

  • pushing your limits

  • performing “good movement"

But about this:

  • building a relationship with your body

  • learning to listen and recognize its signals

  • trusting what arises and meeting it with curiousity

Each workshop includes:

  • Guided somatic movement class (1hr)

  • Opportunity to share your thoughts & ask questions after class (15mins)

  • Workshops happen in Google Meet, with replay available afterwards (you will have access to the replay during 3 months)

Schedule

The workshops happen on Wednesdays at 11am Central European Time. In each workshop we go deep into exploring one of the movement types through different somatic movement exercises.

Here are the dates of the workshops:

May 6th - Grounding movement

May 13th - Fluid movement

May 20th - Expansive movement

May 27th - Expressive movement

Is this for me?

You might resonate with this practice if you have been feeling  disconnected from your body or tired of rigid movement routines. You might crave movement that is more intuitive, free and embodied, and you want to feel yourself again, at home in your own body.

A gentle note:

If you are new to somatic movement, this work can feel unfamiliar at first, slower than what you’re used to and emotional or unexpected.

You don’t have to “do it right”, just to be curious and open to listen to your own body.

Hoewever, if you are currently dealing with a very difficult life situation or trauma, somatic movement might bring those feelings to the surface. In that case practices likes these where you go deep into the body are better to be done in the presence of certified therapist.

Hey,

my name is Aino.

I live listening to my body first. But it hasn’t always been like that. When I started my somatic movement journey, I was seriously stressed and overwhelmed and knew that something needed to change. As coming from a background of dance and yoga, the body-first approach felt natural to me, so I decided to go all in.

Slowly I started to connect more with my body and find strength from myself. I knew that whatever happens, I will be my own safe space. That I will always be able to find joy & freedom inside myself, get grounded, be guided by my intuition and choose a new path, and by embracing my sensitive self I get to create a life of joy & wonder.

And around this I have created my work. I want to see you thriving, feeling life with all your senses, not numbing or shutting yourself down because you are feeling so much.

You are here to feel it all.
